In Episode 93, Mike and I talked about our trip to Las Vegas. Mike drank some King Cup and I drank the remaining coffee from our October Brew Pal. We meant to get into an article I came across, but we ran out of time. Maybe next time. We also talked about the hand grinder we brought along with us from Handground. We used it to make multiple cups while we were out there and it stood up to the test. A full review with write up, pics, and videos, is coming- not only for the hand grinder, but for all the coffee shops, as well.
Sunrise Coffee was the first cafe we visited. They told us they got their coffee from Mothership Coffee. It was a sister cafe, right down the street, and the second cafe we went to. Mothership was my favorite cafe in Las Vegas. The amazing baristas at Mothership recommended Vesta Coffee to us on our trip.
The next day, we made it out north to Makers and Finders Coffee. It was my least favorite cafe. A short walk away, we visited Vesta Coffee as our friends at Mothership recommended. It was fantastic and my second favorite on our trip.
During our first work day, we visited picked up some bad coffee inside a cool chocolate shop inside the Bellagio: Jean Philippe Patisserie. We didn’t remember to talk about it inside the show, and the coffee was unremarkable and forgettable. The chocolate was pretty good.
Lastly, we visited the Bad Owl Coffee shop on our way out of town. The coffee and service was good, but the Harry Potter theme fell a little flat.
We missed a few that we wanted to visit, and made it to two we hadn’t planned for. Still, for our money- Mothership Coffee is the place to go in Las Vegas for coffee.
