In Episode 82 of the Orange Cactus Coffee Podcast, Mike and I talked about Mike finally getting his December Dripper. He makes some coffee for me with it, and he really likes it. For our Coffee Review, we drank and talked about MadCap’s Six One Six blend, Brandywine’s Cascara tea, a naturally processed Costa Rica Cumbres Del Pos Perla Negra, and an espresso blend. Lastly, we talked about receiving some of Ambition Coffee’s Guatemalan Huehuetenango Ixlama.
Our Brew Tip of the Week was to use the Brew Time coffee app that uses Scott Rao’s recipes.
Mike updates us on the status of ordering green coffee from Genuine Origin. Also, we’re thinking of using the Blue Candle cactus to name our naturally processed Ethiopian coffee we’re hunting for.
Then we end the show with our Coffee Knowledge segment taken from The Book of Roast by Roast magazine.
