Podcasting and Business.
Mike and I attempted to define what we’re trying to accomplish with our venture into specialty coffee, committed ourselves to capturing “us” while we’re doing “this.” Whatever that is. We also decided to attempt to stay more focused on coffee and talk about the great podcast from Cat and Cloud. Then, we proceeded to go off topic wherever the caffeine led us.
Continuing on, we got into employee empowerment, business buy-in, and Mike talked about the perceived similarities between his existing hobby- photography, and coffee roasting. If Mike can roast coffee as well as he can take pictures, we’ll be in for a treat.
But should we start roasting? We talked about whether we should roast or not, and which roaster would be our first foray into the roasting world: The Behmor 1600+, the Hottop, the Quest M3, or Mr. Li’s Huky 500T? Sweet Maria’s sells the Behmor and the Hottop. I have no idea where to buy the Quest M3, and to buy the Huky, e-mail Mr. Li at firstname.lastname@example.org.
