Welcome to episode 24, where Mike and I talk about the intro music to our podcast, drink Onyx Coffee, talk about the Hyperchiller, and give a business update. Our coffee review this week was a single origin from Kenya, roasted by Onyx Coffee. It was delicious. I love Onyx Coffee’s packaging and highly recommend them. In addition, we praise Take Flight Coffee and Blue Bottle Coffee.
Our product review this week was the Hyperchiller, that Mike loves to drink. Talking about the Hyperchiller also brings up the difference between delusion and dilution and the fact your wife will only want a drink if you’re having one (and french fries).
Then we veer off to business and ask if you’ve had an online shopping experience where after tax and shipping was added to the agreed upon purchase price for whatever you were buying, you left it in the cart and didn’t buy. Please share your buying adventures with us.
Here are Califia’s new Nitro Cold Brew drinks that we said were re-branded, but are actually a new product line that we haven’t tried yet. We update you on our coffee roasting, and I felt frustrated just delaying the product launch for what feels like forever, but we wanted to make sure every touch point is awesome. We also bring up starting a Facebook Group for coffee lovers to help people have a better coffee experience. If you’ve made it to this point in the show notes, please come join us to ask questions and engage with all coffee- not just our stuff.
Here’s a picture of the mugs we discussed on the show, to see if we should get some for our brand. We would love to get your feedback about which mug you think looks best. These are samples, and not what we would sell. They would have an Orange Cactus on them.
