Coffee Bar Talk.
Mike and I recorded back at Peavine Coffee, drank a Filthy Chai and talked about the pros and cons of setting up your coffee shop like a bar. We stumbled across questionable items during our internet search for dirty drinks and weigh the merits of dumbing down your communication in order to reach more people. We wondered aloud whether specialty coffee could benefit from abandoning industry speech in order to serve people who are also on a journey of coffee discovery, at least in the beginning.
We veered off topic and talked about Instagram filters, security guard conduct inside malls, and how Subway bakes their own bread every morning.
