Episode 10, Continued.
Mike and I recorded from Peavine Coffee House, talked about my trip to Flagstaff, AZ where I stopped and had a mocha from Wicked AZ Coffee. Then we talked about various recipes and how there’s more than one way to make most drinks. We also talked about ways to add fresher, more pure ingredients to coffee drinks we already know and love.

Mike referenced Scott Rao’s book on roasting and gave us an update on how well he’s adhering to those principles. We also discussed roasting and drinking right away, which is a little contrary to common coffee knowledge. Maybe there’s something to roasting and brewing on demand for customers.
Mike won me over from keeping an airpot on hand to just making custom drinks that excite us if we ever end up opening our own coffee shop.
