In Episode 65, I talked about Howard Bryman’s excellent article at Daily Coffee News about the opening of OB Beans Coffee Roaster’s first retail cafe. I always find it encouraging to hear about other cafe’s stories. In this case, it took them two years to open their first cafe. And they opened with a two-group La Marzocco espresso machine and French Presses. That’s it. They’ll expand later, but that’s all they have at the moment. A limited menu with an unlimited passion to share specialty coffee with their community. Boom. What more do you need?
