In Episode 27, I reacted and responded to a recent episode of the Cat and Cloud Podcast where the boys repeatedly drew attention to the fact their guest was a “woman roaster.” Why was this significant? They didn’t say. Who cares? They didn’t say that either. I, for one, cannot taste when I’m drinking my coffee here if it was roasted by a man or a woman. There are no signs to it. It’s either good or it’s not. The market does not care. The ‘industry’ might, but based on the rest of the podcast, it sure didn’t seem like anyone cared she was a woman- one way or another. So why keep brining it up? You shouldn’t care, and you don’t care. You let the coffee speak for itself. As it should be.
